Celebrate Your Sanctuary: Join the Pam Golding Garden Day Festival

Pam Golding Properties is proud to partner with Garden Day SA in honouring the green spaces that enrich our homes and our lives. Whether your garden is a sprawling sanctuary or a collection of potted plants on a sunny balcony, join us on Sunday, 12 October 2025 for the Pam Golding Garden Day Festival, a day dedicated to celebrating the beauty and joy of all things green.

What is Garden Day?

Garden Day is a national annual initiative that encourages plant lovers across South Africa to pause and enjoy the fruits of their gardening efforts. It’s less about digging, weeding and watering, and more about savouring your green space, whatever its size, with the people you love.

You might host a long-table lunch beneath the trees or enjoy a laid-back braai on the lawn. Perhaps you’ll prepare a picnic, serve platters on your patio or host a tea party on your balcony. If solitude is more your style, simply enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee in your favourite corner or unwind with a good book surrounded by greenery.

Everyone is welcome, from community garden volunteers to houseplant enthusiasts. The only tradition is to wear a flower crown as a cheerful symbol of the day’s festivities.

How Can You Take Part?

Celebrate in your own style, whether with a garden lunch, afternoon tea, picnic or a relaxed gathering in your backyard or balcony. Create your own flower crown using blooms from your garden and share the joy with neighbours, friends and family.

Whether you sip sundowners in your veggie patch, cut cake in a community garden or raise a toast with friends, the aim is simple: enjoy your space. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bring people together, build connections and celebrate South Africa’s vibrant gardening culture.

Save the Date: Sunday, 12 October 2025

Pop it in your diary. Pam Golding Properties invites you to open your garden, no matter how big or small, and join fellow South Africans in celebrating the value and wonder of our green spaces.
