That is until you have to factor in the cost of shipping them to the closest port, sourcing cranes or forklifts to get them on site, insulation, ventilation, steel reinforcements, and other additional materials required to make them habitable…

In contrast, MEKA – modules of houses that are built to shipping container dimensions so they can be transported globally via truck, ship or rail, are insulated, less arduous to work with, and less expensive.
