Homestead Views Security Estate

The response to the launch of Homestead Views Security Estate on Friday 18 June was overwhelming, with 14 of the 59 houses and 16 of the 40 apartments already sold!

This prestigious estate is being developed on the 5ha site with sensational sea views, recently cleared on the corner of the R330 and Homestead Road, to the west of Leightons Estate.

St Francis Bay founder, Leighton Hulett, built his homestead here many years ago, for obvious reasons!  … and this is where Homestead Views will be built in the coming months.

On offer are 59 two and three bedroomed freehold freestanding homes from R1.8m to R3.2m, and 40 apartments from R999,000 to R1.8m, marketed by Pam Golding Properties.

Homestead Views will feature a manned entrance, electrified fencing around the entire perimeter, brick-paved roads, waterborne sewerage  …. and breathtaking north-facing views. Infrastructure installation will commence in the second half of this year, with house completions in 2022.

The timing of the launch could not have been better, with our stock of houses to sell at an all time low, after our record sales since May last year, the best stretch of sales since 2005. The reason for the excellent response from buyers is the affordability, with the price range being R1m to R3m, and the excellent value, with for example a two bedroomed house being R1.8m.

This site has been zoned residential since 2001, and Homestead Views is effectively the final phase of the existing Homestead Village, with its entrance in Reservoir Road, developed about 15 years ago. The development of Homestead Views has already substantially reduced the fire hazard by clearing the rooikrans, and will also improve the security to Homestead Village, Leightons, and the adjacent homes.

It is a very appropriate development, being adjacent to existing developments and homes, and within easy walking distance of the centre of town.

We have built a great relationship with the developers, Ntaba Holdings, over the last two years on St Francis Links, where they have been actively developing, and are delighted to be working with them again on this exciting estate.

We have shown our commitment to the development with at least four of us at Pam Golding buying units.
