Pam Golding Properties has been judged the Best International Real Estate Agency (over 20 offices) 2019-2020 at the International Property Awards (IPA) held in London (2 December 2019).
In so doing the company competed against the highest-scoring winners from around the world, as the awards are split into regions covering Africa, Asia Pacific, Arabia, Canada, Caribbean, Central & South America, Europe, UK and USA, which then contend for top honours in the International category. Participants are judged by a highly experienced panel of professionals.
In addition, the company also scooped the top regional awards for Best Real Estate Agency in Africa and Best Real Estate Agency Marketing in Africa.
Says Dr Andrew Golding, chief executive of the Pam Golding Property group: “We are honoured to have received these highly prestigious global awards on the back of our recent success earlier this year when we won the top awards for Best Real Estate Agency in South Africa as well as Best Real Estate Agency Marketing and Best Real Estate Agency Website in South Africa. This is the 13th year in succession that Pam Golding Properties has been acknowledged as South Africa’s Best Estate Agency in South Africa. This also brings to 58 the number of prestigious International Property Awards we have received to date.
“Competing against the world’s best, the IPA awards are recognition of our ongoing commitment to striving for the highest standards of innovation, professionalism and service excellence for the benefit of our clients – who are located in all corners of the world. While credit in achieving these awards is due to all our staff, key ambassadors for the Pam Golding Properties brand are our agents, who interface with sellers and buyers on a daily basis, successfully concluding sales across all cycles of the property market.
“Our global reach extends to approximately 40 countries at any one time, and with a network of over 300 offices in sub-Saharan Africa and a strategic alliance with one of the world’s largest property groups, Savills – which has over 600 offices worldwide – we continue to expand our footprint to offer a comprehensive range of property services.”
Dr Golding adds that internationally, there is a compelling trend to diversify investment portfolios via savvy property acquisitions, coupled with a local imperative in South Africa to achieve a sound rand hedge as well as a combination of residency and leisure or second home acquisitions.
Says Noeleen Bruton, marketing director for Pam Golding Properties: “Amid a constantly evolving and highly competitive landscape, with global online audiences growing exponentially – estimated at an additional million internet users over the past year alone to approximately 4.39 billion in 2019 (Source: DataReportal’s Digital 2019: Global Digital Overview) – the marketing and selling of property today is a highly skilled, demanding and multi-disciplinary business. This requires a strategic and integrated approach from the first point of contact either personally via an agent or digitally, across a broad range of platforms and skill-sets through to final negotiation of the successfully concluded transaction.”
